PennGrade 1 Monograde High Performance OilPennGrade 1 Monograde oils are "straight weight" oils, labelled with a single SAE viscosity number. Unlike multi grade oils which flow easier in cold weather, monograde oils are linear, and are typically used in warmer climates or when the vehicle will only be used in normal ambient temperatures. Monograde oils have a greater film strength than multi grade oils, and are more suitable for vintage motorcycle engines that have larger bearing clearances.
