2000 Fender Japan (by Tokai) JB62-58 '62 Reissue Jazz Bass (Sunburst)Built in 2000, this is Fender Japan's base model '62 Reissue Jazz Bass. Made in the Tokai factory, it's a basswood body with a maple neck and slab rosewood fingerboard, weighs just over 4kg's. Appears to be all original with original Fender Japan pickups, we just took the plastic film of the pickguard so it's really not seen much use over it's life! Very clean used condition with only very light signs of use, restrung and given a professional service

The original tuners and bridge work as they should

The neck is straight and the frets play smoothly with a fully functional truss

Part of the original JV series that's considered by many as the most desirable and collectable Japanese guitars ever produced by Fender

There's still plenty of depth left in the neck with all the inlays on both the top and side of the neck still perfectly visible

The pots and wiring were replaced by the previous owner along with the finish being fully stripped back and sanded

Components include a pair of Ibanez Super Charger humbucking pickups mounted in gold pickup rings with Duo Sound coil-split functionality for the bridge pickup

Loaded with a Seymour Duncan Basslines humbucker controlled by a master volume knob with a push/pull boost

With a solid mahogany body and set slim 60's mahogany neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard
