Wrasse Gyotaku Print

Wrasse Gyotaku PrintThis was my first time printing wrasse. I could see the details of the fish but struggled to get them to show up. The details show up nicely in this print though. With a multiple print like this one, each fish is printed individually so this is actually 9 individual prints on the same sheet of paper. Each time you make a print there is a risk the fish will leak or you might not align it correctly and then the fish can unintentionally overlap. The

April 18th was Easter Monday and we took some family over to Aberffraw for a beautiful walk around the headland

I picked up this fabulous specimen

which literally translates as 'Hedgehog of the Sea'

On this walk I picked up several feathers

Please note that for the purpose of photograph I have put it under a mount and it is not mounted properly so will lie flatter in a frame when done professionally
