江原道國小老師，1992年成為老師後便持續撰寫教師日誌，從2008年開始於部落格撰寫班上孩子的校園生活，以及自己身為老師的感想。作者在擔任一年級班導師的第一年，就以〈我是一年級的班導師〉為題進行文章連載，接觸到許多家長無法對班導坦白的煩惱，在尋求解決方案的過程中，他感受到了家長們想了解育兒及教育問題的渴望，和孩子們孤單的成長之間有著深刻的鴻溝。作者認為家長和班導愈是頻繁面談，雙方交集愈深，對於孩子的成長愈有幫助。作者期許能培養出家長相信孩子的力量，為此至今仍持續寫作。著有《我是一年級的班導師》（暫譯）、《家長面談記錄簿》（暫譯）。
