The first vintage of this iconic wine was released in 1964 as Seppelt Great Western Hermitage and the name changed to St Peters in 1998 in honour of the historic St Peters vineyard which was the first vineyard planted in the region in 1863. With

hails from a 3 hectare block planted in 1975 primarily to Shiraz with around five percent planted to Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Sauvignon has been planted in the Barossa since at least 1888

Tropical fruit aromas

which was an unforeseen vintage characterised by extreme heat

Luscious citrus and succulent stone fruit slide effortlessly towards a precise and lingering finish of gooseberry

The wine is named after pastoralist Joseph Keynes who settled at Keyneton in 1842 and after whom the village was named
