The lid features a grinning man drinking a mug of beer. He sits on a bundle of cigars tied by a yellow ribbon. The bottom of the humidor is marked Made in Bohemia, and JM with a small symbol next to it. The underside of the lid is marked 3624. The metal has a great patina and shows some nice age

but it holds onto the inkwell securely
