Venice CanalsOne of my favourite things to do when Im in LA is spend hours wandering the peaceful paths of the Venice Canals. Even though Ive walked them countless times, I always notice something new, every house has its own unique charm. For this print, I spent hours trying to capture the perfect shot, taking pictures from every bridge and loving how each view revealed a different arrangement of houses. The very first comment I got was from someone who happened to have a contact there

so it felt like the perfect opportunity to start putting my work in front of people who might actually connect with it

and it’s one of my favourite prints to reflect on as the years have passed

I mean it’s the Chinese Theatre

it was my first time truly being away from home

I’ve only been to this In-N-Out once

so the building is deliberately “imperfect

and it instantly became a place I knew I had to draw
