We originally began work on this exhibit more than a decade ago with the acquisition of the Yours Til Death devil image and the Oh, Let Me Alone skull and crossbones. Then there was a period of casual collecting

All three needed considerable yet subtle work to make it appear as if we just blew them up

1939 and again in 1947 in this very car

Then she'd stand it up in one of those weighted stands with the coil of stainless that used to be on every bar table

then we set about fixing it up to transform it into the groove print you see here

Here we have an Ernemann camera in field use with a whole bunch of pickelhaube topped German soldiers and cavalry
