To be sure, this is no shrinking violet with big, rich and powerful flavors that really coat the mouth with both sap and tannins but this potentially risks drying out with time in bottle. 2011 seems to be more fruit forward
firm and serious finish
with licorice
saline and balanced finish where the citrus character telegraphed by the nose reappears on the explosive finale
weight and mid-palate concentration to the velvety and delicious finish that possesses fine length on the balanced finish
green guava
Once again the wood treatment is generous to the point of masking the nuance of the very earthy liqueur-like aromas of plum
with lively acids and a pinpoint mousse
