Hardy Bethune Line Drier - early 1900'sFor sale: Hardy Bethune Line Drier from the early 1900's. This is the larger salmon model. The arms are about 3 inches long. The handle is 6 3 4" long. Excellent+ condition as can be seen in the photos. Very rare in this condition. See scan of 1900 Hardy's Anglers' Guide for more info.
The case is in near mint condition with a few insignificant rub marks

The ferrules are 11/64 and 16/64 and the tip tops are 5/64
Made in 1954
not made by Hardy's but sold by Von Lengerke and Detmold
made by Orvis as well
Includes original yellow cloth bag and original aluminum tube with brass fittings
No issues to speak of other than the exterior leaded finish that now appears bright
The grasp is buffalo horn
Bakelite butt cap
Currently set up for RHW but easily switchable
